We gotta give Gwen Stefani credit, not only has she embraced gadget accessories with her previous products like her Harajuku Lovers Kerfuffle Cuties 3D Bags and MacBook Pro Sleeves, but she keeps coming out with some really hot ones. Her latest creations include two MacBook Pro Sleeves for the 13″ and 15″ Macbook Pro. There is the Harajuku Lovers Pretty in Pins print for $34.95, and her L.A.M.B 15″ and 13″ Signature Coated Canvas Sleeve which is covered in a Graffiti print and trimmed with Italian Vachetta leather for $99.95.

iPod Touch Grows a Set of MiniBallz

Well it looks like the iPod Touch is going to grow a pair of ballz – I mean, MiniBallz that is. If you are out of the loop – iBallz is a one of the stranger accessories for your gadgets that is comprised of balls that are put on all four corners of your gizmo -they’re used to protect the edges in case of a fall, bump, or smack. Recently, iBallz got a lot of attention for their contraption for the iPad. Now there will be pair of MiniBallz making their way to market soon and it will fit your iPod Touch, Nook, the newest Kindle and more. However until that comes out – iBallz just released a slew of new iBallz cases that will keep your iPad comfy and at the same time protect it from the elements. Speck Candy Shell for iPhone 4 Review

Speck’s Candy Shells for iPhone 4 are amongst the funkiest and hippest cases on the market right now. These two-tone rubber and glossy plastic cases come in a wide range of fun eye-popping colors. The Candy Shell is also the most protective and comfortable cases we’ve gotten our hands on (literally).
The case is made of a hard outer shell and soft rubber interior. The volume and lock buttons are rubberized and different color than the plastic casing. The frame around the screen is also rubber and the same color as the buttons. The frame protrudes a few millimeters past the screen offering some frontal protection. The inside of the case is covered in the same rubber, but in a unique web-like pattern. There are cutouts for the headphone jack, vibrate button, dock connector, mic, speaker, and camera. CandyShell is a one piece shell. iPhone 4 pops right into the fitted case with a bit of force. To remove it just apply pressure to one of the corners and fold it back enough to remove the phone.

Speck Candy Shell transforms iPhone 4 into a very comfortable to hold device. The durability of the iPhone 4 is greatly improved, as is the wireless reception. The buttons feel great and work perfectly. Best of all, it’s one of the trendiest and unique case designs we’ve even seen. That said, we only have a few little gripes. For starters, the headphone cutout isn’t large enough for some auxiliary cables. We were able to fold the case back just far enough to directly access the headphone jack. The vibrate toggle button can be a little tricky to access with big fingers. The rubber frame around the screen has shown slight signs of wear after a couple weeks of usage. However, it’s not too noticeable, and it’s mostly due to inserting and removing iPhone so frequently. Lastly, the case adds some bulkiness to iPhone 4. It doesn’t make it much heavier weighing just 2 ounces, but it does make your phone a bit thicker than iPhone 3G/3GS. We didn’t mind the extra thickness, it’s a reasonable tradeoff for protection. Besides, the Candy Shell case feels great and looks ridiculously awesome, so we can’t complain! CandyShell is available from Speck in 8 fun flavors for $34.95.

Luxury Monacca Cedar Wood Briefcase Can Float on Water

Monacca’s Wood laptop briefcase is really quite a feat of design. For starters, despite the fact that it’s made out of cedar wood – it’s actually super lightweight. This eco-friendly luxury case is actually made of thinned and pressed laminated cedar from Japan. In particular, the wood is garnered from surplus from forestation projects that keep Japan’s Yanase cedar forests healthy. The case is also strong enough to sit on water and is able to float! Robotector Unleashes New Case Styles for the iPhone 4

At Comic Con New York this week, Robotector unveiled several new case designs for the iPhone 4 and 4th Gen iPod Touch. These new action figure silicon skin designs include cases by artist Frank Kozik, a master of poster design and collectible vinyl toys. He is also the guy behind Chumps, Mongers and pretty much everything else that “smorks”. These new Robotector cases are Limited Edition and should be available in December for about $24.99 each.
