Nokia’s downright seductive X6 just started shipping to those across the pond, and shortly after the company announced a Comes Without Music edition, along comes this: a NAM version for those who call North America home, sweet home. The pre-order page (which is live this very moment, by the way) makes no mention of a Comes With Music requirement, giving you complete freedom to shove whatever you darn well please onto what’s left of that 16GB after the OS install and a hidden ‘thank you’ note from Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo. Next month? Psshh. For those hankering for a slice of that oh-so-tempting Micro Four Thirds pie, Olympus’ new and improved PEN E-PL1 is now shipping (in blue and gold, anyway) from Amazon. If you’ll recall, the company told us that it wouldn’t be available until March when it launched three weeks ago, but hey, you won’t find us kvetching about early availability. For those who’ve forgotten, this compact camera touts the same 12.3 megapixel image sensor as the E-30 and E-620, and the $599.99 asking price also nets you a 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko zoom lens. Good luck resisting.

Lookin’ to get your flash on, are you? Fret not, as SanDisk has just announced that its 60GB and 120GB G3 solid state drives are headed out to retailers as we speak. Both North America and Europe are getting served simultaneously, with the drives promising sequential performance of up to 220MB/sec on the read side and up to 120MB/sec on the write side. You’ll also be thrilled to know that the G3 range supports the newest Windows 7 TRIM feature, which enables the drive to “continuously manage its resources and retain optimized performance throughout its lifespan.” Those anxious to supplant their existing 2.5-inch HDD can snag one now from the web for $229.99 (60GB) / $399.99 (120GB), while those who prefer ye old B&M sales will have to wait a few weeks still.

Seagate’s no stranger to the world of SATA 6Gbps, and if you really, really needed another option, here you go. The aforesaid company has just shipped what it calls the industry’s first 2TB 6Gbps SAS enterprise drive, complete with a 7200RPM spindle speed and some sort of “best-in-class” reliability. And given the kind of thing that Seagate’s own CEO recommends you use its drives for, you can be certain that you’ll need that. Mum’s the word on pricing, but 500GB and 1TB versions are also out there for those with less to archive.

Said device boasts a 15MB/sec read speed, a Class 4 speed rating and an exFAT file structure that helps you capture 1080p clips without any glitches or hangups. It’s also based around the minty fresh SD 3.0 specification, so make sure that you pick up an SDXC reader or a device that specifically supports the format (you know, like ASUS’ Eee PC T101MT). If you’re finally ready to leap, this one’s available now for the not-quite-reasonable price of $349.99, though if we were you, we’d wait for the rest of the competition to hit the ship button and drive down the MSRP.

Anywho, two of Lenovo’s CES-announced machines are now ready for you to customize and order, with the 14-inch G460 packing a 2.13GHz Core i3-330M processor, integrated Intel graphics, Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1,366 x 768 resolution panel, 320GB hard drive, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, dual-layer DVD writer and a 6-cell battery. The 15.6-inch G560 adds a marginally larger LCD and, well, that’s it. Thankfully, both units get going at the same $799 price point, so choosing between the two really boils down to how awful your vision is. Got that, gramps?

Just a hunch here, but we’re guessing that Alienware’s CES stash all hit the production line at right about the same time. During the past day, we’ve seen the company’s M15x, M17x and OptX AW2310 hit the shipping stage, the latter of which is the firm’s first-ever 3D monitor. Checking in at 23-inches and boasting a full 1080p panel, this one also packs a 3 millisecond response time, 120Hz refresh rate and stereoscopic support when NVIDIA’s GeForce 3D Vision Kit is utilized. It’s up for order right now at $469, but if you follow that Logicbuy link down there, you’ll be able to snag it (for a limited time) for $449.10. Too bad that 3D kit will set you back another $200, but hey, no one said that witnessing the third dimension was cheap. Or remotely interesting. But mostly cheap.

Toshiba’s new Satellite has launched. Our previous interactions with the Satellite series has left us decidedly underwhelmed. Mainly citing battery life and a wonky trackpad button as sticking points holding this laptop back from being truly great. The most exciting feature on the new model is the inclusion of Intel Wireless Display technology and a Netgear Push2TV adapter, allowing easy video streaming to your entertainment center. A simple way to watch Hulu in your living room is always a welcomed feature—especially on a laptop. Best Buy has these for the decently reasonable price of $899.99. For that price you get an Intel Core i5-430M CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB of storage—along with the Netgear adapter. You can peruse it here.
Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus
These newest Palm offerings have finally landed on Verizon Wireless’ webstore. If you are a Sprint customer worried that you’re getting the shaft on these babies don’t worry. Aside from the RAM being doubled and a marginally improved keyboard the entire experience is more or less the same. Granted, these guys can run up to 50 apps at once, but that seems a tad excessive. Perhaps the most tantalizing facet of these little gems is their ability to become mobile hot spots, essentially showing where smartphones should be headed in the next few months. Add that to their soon-to-be-able ability to shoot and cut videos and you’ve got a pretty decent little device in your pocket. Buying it online also nets you a $100 discount. Get it here.
Toshiba Tecra A11 and Qosmio X500
In addition to the Satellite, Toshiba has also started shipping the Tecra A11 and the Ferrari-esque 18.4″-behemoth Qosmio X500. The 15.6″ Tecra A11 features an integrated number pad—for tax season I assume—and the standard duo of new NVIDIA and Intel hardware in it’s guts. It’ll set you back about $879 and probably not raise too many eyebrows. Tecra’s larger and more flamboyant relative boasts a bullish 2010 Intel Core i7-720QM quad-core processor and a GeForce GTS 360M. It can sport up to 8GB of RAM and a Blu-ray drive. This spicy specimen will set you back $1,549. You can discuss the irony of Blu-ray on a Toshiba or the fact that both of these are marketed as ‘business laptops’ in the comments. Get either one here.
Belkin TuneCast Auto Live iPhone FM transmitter
We’re not really on-board with FM transmitters as a whole, but at least this Belkin adapter makes transmitting to your radio via an iPhone a tad less cumbersome. What differentiates this from other FM transmitters is the inclusion of an iPhone app for direct control over the frequency. We’re surprised it’s taken this long to integrate a functional app into an FM transmitter, but it’s probably just a subtle statement on how annoying FM transmitters are as opposed to other connections.
